Clinical Issues

The Clinical Issues section offers a space to explore the practical, real-world challenges faced by GPs and health professionals delivering whole person care. Drawing from member contributions, current research, and lived experiences, we aim to highlight areas where complexity, uncertainty, and clinical nuance intersect.

From navigating trauma-informed approaches and managing behavioural disorders, to understanding the relational dimensions of care, Clinical Issues provides insight and reflection on the frontlines of psychological medicine in general practice.

We welcome member submissions and reflections that speak to the realities of clinical work — the hard questions, ethical tensions, and moments of meaning that shape the care we offer.
